1991 Bridgestone MB-1 Ritchey Comp mountain bike. This bike is complete with all its original components including the highly coveted Ritchey Logic fork and the Ritchey Logic Prestige frame. This was a $900 bike in 1991 and evidently has quite the cult following among mountain bike purists. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a scratch and some loss of the letters in the Comp decal on the off side. I think this happened when something rubbed against it in storage. There is no chain slap or other damage to the paint. This bike belonged to my friend who kept it at my house to ride when he visited. It has been ridden lightly, probably less than 1500 miles or so, and then it was only around the neighborhood and mostly down to the nearest coffee shop. It has always been kept inside in my humidity controlled basement. There is no rust or other signs of age. It still has the original Ritchey tires but of course it hasn't been ridden in about 5 years and they are no longer any good.

This has been a very reliable bike. I've been using it all these years. It has it's original paint and most of the original parts, it needs new sprockets if you want to seriously buy it. I've had it going 45mph on paved road and gone mudding with it almost standing still. Nothing has been able to stop this bike. I have a rear mounted rack on it and a bottle holder. It has space for one more frame accessory. This bike has been on the banks of the Mississippi, in Minneapolis, MN, Cape Cod, MA, and some back woods mountains in NH. This bike keeps on going. It could use a new tube and a rear tread. It's well worth it to the serious collector and rider.
