The 500W ZB-EKIT electric bicycle engine kit is the performance champion among all other electric bicycle engine kits. By using your bike's gearing, it can climb steep hills, accelerate faster and achieve higher cruising. The 500 watt motor will drive 20" folding bikes up to 21 mph and 26" bikes at 27+ mph on level ground. At cruising speeds, the motor will draw about 15-20 amps, and when accelerating and climbing it can draw up to 35 amps. The 500 watt motor performs best when coupled with a high performance 24v 24Ahr battery. With this battery, you're able to achieve up to 45 miles on level ground at average speeds of 15-18mph. Higher speeds and/or hilly terrain will reduce the range from 20% to 50%.

This is a full crank four cycle engine with a centrifugal clutch and very easy pull start. This allows the engine to keep running while the bike is stopped, then just hit the throttle and take off. Our kits have a Ľ" thick Alum. Extrusion that is CNC machined, two high speed double sealed ball bearings, ( one on each side to support the drive roller), our drive rollers are CNC machined knurled & heat treated. This kit comes complete with all the mounting hardware, stop switch and Dual engaging rod for a rear mount bicycle. Rear mount kits come with a 60" throttle cable & lever.
